5 Things You Need To Be Doing To Generate Facebook Leads

Are you doing these 5 things?

Social Media Marketing

Facebook generates millions of leads for businesses everyday. It has become an essential marketing tool for any business and not just multi-million dollar companies. Facebook is also having an impact on small business, too. There is huge potential to generate leads and grow your business through Facebook whether you’re a one person operation or have a team of staff.

That being said, businesses have varied success generating leads through Facebook. So, what are the 5 things you should be doing to ensure your Facebook page is successful?

  1. Post Content Your Audience Will Value

To attract an audience of potential clients you must produce content that they will value. For example, at a social event we all avoid that one person that consistently talks about themselves. Instead, we would all rather talk to someone who we share common interest, right? The same principle can be applied to Facebook, it is social media after all. To really engage your audience you should post content that they are interested in. But at the same time take the opportunity to highlight your areas of expertise. If you specialize in selling family homes, perhaps look for content that appeals to families in your area. For example, post content regarding the development of new parks.

  1. Encourage Interaction

Now that you know the style of content you’re going to post, you need to encourage your followers to comment, share, like and click, without annoying the hell out of them. Facebook has a set of algorithms called Edgerank which determines how highly your post features on your followers news feed. Given Facebook users also spend the majority of their time looking at their news feed, your posts’ Edgerank should be a priority. Here are some simple ways you can improve your Edgerank score;

  • Include a powerful image, video and/or link on your post.
  • Limit your post to a maximum of 250 characters (the less characters the better).
  • Ask your audience a question, but keep it simple. Questions containing words ‘should’, ‘would’, ‘which’ or ‘who’ have the best results.

  1. Repetition, Repetition, Repetition.

No one is going to remember you’re the local real estate expert if you only post content now and again. You need to regularly schedule posts so that when someone is ready to sell, you’re the first person they think of. It is recommend that you post 3 – 4 times per week. Also keep in mind Facebook usage is at its peak late in the evenings and near the end of the week.

  1. Use Facebook Ads Manager

The potential lead generation power of Facebook isn’t limited to just your page. Facebook advertising is an essential skill you should master if you really want to generate leads. Facebook Ads Manager allows you to implement targeted advertising that captures information from potential leads. If you’re unfamiliar with this tool, its time you learnt how to use it.

  1. Never Stop Learning

Like any technology, Facebook is forever evolving and adding new features. To make the most of this essential marketing tool, its important that you take the time to keep up-to-date with any changes.
